Guidelines for Volunteers at Rock Ridge Elementary:
1. Volunteers will be thoughtfully placed in roles where they can provide the most effective assistance to students. For instance, it's unlikely that a volunteer will be assigned to the same class as their own child or children.
2. All volunteers are required to undergo a formal background check.
3. Every volunteer is expected to adhere to the laws outlined by the district, state, and federal levels, which includes respecting student and staff confidentiality. Any breach of these regulations will result in the removal of volunteer privileges at Rock Ridge.
